Well, it's nice to have the ability to play all of the possible soundtracks to their fullest. As a minimum, my receiver seems to be able to apply DPL IIx to any multi-channel PCM soundtrack, including DD True HD etc, so at least I can toy with 7.1 even if it's matrixed.
