This may be a dead thread, but screw it. It's still pertinent. I was doing some calculations the other day and finally figured out that I was spending too much money on "Gaming Experience". I used to falsely figure that I would spend a couple hundred on games per month and that's it... no harm, no foul. But that's not the case. Here is what usually happens:
1) Spend about $30 in gas to get to my favorite video game spot in the ghettos of Brooklyn.
2) Spend about $200 on average per month on games.
3) While I'm in the shop, I peruse through the inventory and I spend another $75-$100 on movies.
4) I have to eat lunch, and I'll go across the street to Burger King and spend about $10 on a Quarter Pounder meal and 2 apple pies.
5) Since I'm already in the ghetto, I stop by the weed spot to buy about $100 -$150 worth of green to get myself a little blazed before playing my games.
6) I stop by the market and spend about $50 on beer and munchies for my XBox Live nightly vigils.
That's about $540 per month on my "Gaming Experience". That's pretty high (no pun intended).
