I rarely hear it running at all. On some games I will hear it spin a bit, but definitely not the fan blowing. I have spent a day watching bd movies, and not heard it blowing like an airplane or being above a whisper. There have been times where I left it running because it's so quiet, and I didn't realize it was still on.
