Never tried it, but I can't imagine it'd look any better than SD DVD aside from having less compression. 480 is 480 no matter how you slice it. One of my coworkers wants to try out a blu-ray disc with his PS3 though and I said I'd bring one over to try out. He only has a SD TV, so I guess I'll find out soon for sure what it looks like.
