I don't imagine a normal TV screen being big enough to really see a difference either.
Not sure why a person would spend $400 on a Blu-Ray player, but not spend $700-1000 for a HD set. It only makes sense to get the Blu-Ray player after getting the HDTV. Players and movies will get cheaper in the future, so why buy Blu-Ray now if you don't have the HDTV?
