I didn’t necessarily disagree with you on anything. I had some answers to the questions put forth, but none of them make the film any more intelligent.
I’m not a
book is always better kinda guy, but, in this case, the film is so far removed from the intent of the story and so watered-down from the book's original impact, I have a hard time even harboring my original lukewarm feelings towards it.
