Toshiba has not shown a great track record at sending me those ISO firmware files. They didn't send me one for my hd-a2 or my hd-a35 (the first one I had). I don't trust them to actually hold up their end of the bargain. The download from my ethernet port seems to work well with the hd-a35. I could never get my hd-a2 to connect.
Right now I have watched 2 hd-dvds and the 1.3 firmware is holding up. If I ever need to upgrade to 2.0, I can just connect via the ethernet port. But for now, I will stick with the firmware that seemed to have the least amount of problems.
