I think it is the 450 model. Yes, it is plasma. No, I could care less about the 3-D but if it is the one that was revealed in March 2008 it was supposed to list at $2400 and be the first plasma on the market with 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Yes, you DID read that right!

edit: did a store check and got more specific answers than from the store salesperson last night. The item is the Samsung PN50A450 with 20,000:1 contrast ration. It is 1080i/720p. Any thoughts on this? For me to go up to 1080p it is another 900 buckolas. Is the difference between "i" and "p" negligible?
