It does not bother me at all about having the wires go from the AVR to the transmitter and then from the wireless receiver unit to the speakers. I understand that wireless doesn't mean no wires at all. It's just the fact that there won't be the wires crossing the room. Also, I see the AC power as a good thing, in not having to worry about replacing / charging batteries.
I still have some time to decide about this, and would be interested in hearing from someone who has had experience with them.
