So I never really sought out any info about this new spin-off...until now.
Found out that Rob Thomas (Creator/Writer of Veronica Mars) is behind this. Suddenly I have a new outlook on this show. If Rob can translate some of that VM magic to the spin-off, it just might work. I dont think its gonna suck.
Side note: Jennie Garth (who was working on a pilot for another studio), has suddenly dropped out of the pilot. Rob Thomas has said that he has been pursuing her to reprise her role as Kelly Taylor. Coincidence? We shall see.

Aren't most of the teen shows some iteration of 90210, the show that started it all? I think that if the writing is good and the actors talented and attractive enough, they can sell 90210 once again in some other fashion.
