For the 360 or PS3 you'll need DSL + modem + Router.
Some ISPs offer all of this in 1 unit. If you have internet but no router, you'll need to buy one.
For the 360, you will need a membership which isn't bad money wise + a WiFi adaptor which is pricey imo. The PS3 is free however & has built in WiFi

The 360 has a headset available for chating & the PS3 does not.

Not sure how much is excluded or if it will be indefinite. I am currently happy with the game as is, you might want more.

A) no HDD (Cheaper)
B) 20GB
C) Elite 120GB
Yes you will not need memory cards unless you choose "A"
