Another great episode last night, probably my favorite one for Jack so far. I've never been that impressed with Jack's flashback episodes, but his flashforwards have definitely been more interesting, and seeing him with Kate and Aaron was really enjoyable.
Obviously, a lot more happens as we see Kate and Jack separated in the season 3 finale flashforward, but now we know that it's probably not Sawyer's funeral, as he doesn't leave the island, and it's likely that Aaron was who Kate was referring to in that finale that she had to get back to.
What the favor that Kate is doing for Sawyer is indeed a mystery, and who was she talking to about it? Lots of good stuff.
What are the visions of Christian Shepherd? Jack sees his father in his flashforward, while Claire sees him in the present. And Claire disappears. Is this the last we see of her? Her character has sort of become superfluous since Charlie's death. It is kind of cool to see Sawyer being protective of her, in addition to Kate and Hurley. It seems he's finally bonding with the rest of the group instead of being a lone maverick.
I wasn't sure of season 4 could top season 3, but all of the episodes, with maybe the exceptions of the Kevin Johnson/Michael and Kate episodes, have been absolutely great this season.
I wonder what's happening with Sayid and Desmond and Michael. Since Keamy and his men, along with Frank, are on the island, are they being held prisoner on the ship, or is anyone watching them?
Nice to see Jin become a bit more important, figuring out Charlotte could understand Korean, and convincing her to take Sun when the next chopper comes to the island.
