The difference is that 720p vs 1080p is very obvious on a big screen, while the difference between DTS 1.5mbps and DTS-HDMA is minimal even on my $10,000+ sound system. Its nice to have, but in terms of audible output it really doesn't improve the end sound output significantly IMO.
