"Oh mum shi va. oh mum shi va. oh mum shi va. oh mum shi va."
My wife and I had this conversation Sunday, regarding eternal life in the Last Crusade. Why do Jones and his dad, having drank from the cup, no be able to live forever and I would guess not age?
I didnt get it either, but ths is what she said-
In order to keep eternal life, you couldnt cross the seal. You had to stay there with the knight. Then I said I thought that only applied to the cup, and her point was that since the cup crossed the seal, those
that had just drank from it lost eternal life.
Then I pondered- why then a race with the Nazis to get it, who wanted it to create an invincible army? Did you only have to drink the water in the knights water table there, or does the cup magicallt transform any water any place anytime? If so, wouldnt Hitler have to bringthe whole German army there? Was there enough water?
My only reason about this- all the research in the world, there was still the unknown. As such, even an expert like Dad didnt know
this.
