You didn't read that correctly. I said the PS3 is better than the BDP-S1 (slightly). But the A1 (and supposedly a35 since I've been told they're similar) is lightyears better than the PS3. I happily watch upconvered dvd's on my A1, and while they don't look as good as a Reon, they are acceptable. The PS3/BDP-S1 however, are unwatchable.
