This is actually more of a commitment than most new shows get. Most new shows usually get a 6-8 episode commitment. Then once a show airs for a few weeks, then the studio determines whether to pick up a half season for 13 episodes or the whole season for 22 episodes.
Big Eliza Dushku and Amy Acker fan here, so I'll definitely be watching. This is one of the few new shows that I'm looking forward to.
