HD content is all about better picture and audio quality, which BD seems to be providing.
I'm not always excited about the available movies, but it is a new format and it's taking some time to get the movies I'm interested in out. But content IS starting to show up, and I'm excited about it.
As for value it's just really hard to beat SD DVD.
