Hi, I just recently purchased a Sony DVPC650D DVD Player. The back of this player has both coax and optical DD out as well as an onboard DD decoder (6 jacks). I haven't bought my DD receiver yet. What is the best way of connecting the audio from my DVD to the DD reciever? Should I use the coax or optical and have the receiver decode the DD, or should I use the DVD player to decode the DD and send the decoded DD to the receiver?
