Auditioning speakers

So, I'm STILL in the market for some new surrounds (despite my receiver being deceased). I've been lazy about getting some replacements for my very old Infinitys. I've gone to some shops that carry specific brands, like the Mirage OmniSats I was interested in a couple of years ago, but I haven't listened to a wide variety of brands.

What B&M stores would be good to audition a variety of different brands of speakers?

Peace...

I can't recommend a local store for you, but for surrounds check out the PSB Image S50 speakers. Great design, great sound, and a reasonable price.

If you are into 6.1/7.1, PSB makes a pair of trimodal surrounds that actually can handle both surround & rear channels, fire surround channels both ways and rear channel backwards only:

Way more expensive, though.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Actually, this might not be too far fetched since I plan on being in the LA area around the middle of the month.

Hmmm......

Peace...

I thought BB sold Energy. If so, I'd consider these:

Take SAT

I'd also consider the LM1's from B&W. Not found in B&M's but they too offer great flexibility with mounting as the above Energy ones do.
