Wow, congrats George! What's that got HDMI-wise? 3 inputs or more?

4 inputs which is why I went for the 606 over the 605 which only has 2

Very nice, I upgraded to one of those about 3 weeks ago and am very happy with it.
The only thing is that I wish they hadn't removed the XM compatability that I had in earlier models, the 585. This one has Sirius, but not XM

Congrats on the new receiver. I sadly only have the 605 unit but HigH Def is high def sound and i currently only need the 2 HDMI connections. Now to get a good sense of what it can do go and play Live Free or Die Hard DTS-HDMA track from the Blu-ray release and enjoy my fav disc for overall sound. If not the TrueHD track for Batman Begins will do just fine

Yep the UPS guy put it in the storage room in the garage like the note I left him asked to

sounds great
and the upscaled SD via component really makes the picture better on the non HD channels (Directv)

Congrats George. Now you can annoy the neighbors by listening to lossless audio turned up for your high def movies.

George, any more detailed thoughts on your new toy?

Seems that last post was a bit sparse.
