Best Buy selling FDTD C.E. & FDTD 2 in a 2-pack for $15.99
My local Best Buy is selling a bundled 2-pack of From Dusk Till Dawn Collectors Edition & From Dusk Till Dawn 2 for $15.99. That's less than the regular price of FDTD C.E. alone! Don't know if this was a mix up or not.
Perhaps it was supposed to be the bare-bones version of FDTD? Anyone else see find this?

That sounds great, though it sounds like a mix-up. Maybe they put the wrong sticker on the bundle. $25.99 would sound about right, and even then, that would be a great deal.

Hey at 15.99 I'll buy those two. And I can trade in the bare boned FDTD I got when I bought the Pulp Fiction/Jackie Brown combo deal a few weeks ago.
Was that on their website or in the flyer or posted at the store? -Flash

OI, I went to two different Best Buy's today, neither of which had this deal, nor had they even heard about it.
Any more info? -Flash

I just went to the 2nd Best Buy that's near me & they had around 10 of these 2-packs & they all contained the FDTD C.E. so it must not be an error. They were on the shelf just to the right of where they put the new releases & to the left of the beginning of the Action section (where they display the cheapo $5.99 DVDs like Fort Apache The Bronx & Loaded Weapon).
The DVDs in the 2-pack are shrink-wrapped side-by-side instead of back-to-back like they usually do. They also had a few other 2-packs for the same price like 2 Children of the Corn movies (don't remember which ones) & The Crow 1 & 2. ![]()

My Best Buy had the 2 pack deals, and I got the FDTD 2 pack. I haven't seen FDTD2 yet, and I'm not expecting to, so I might trade that and my barebones FDTD that I got w/ Jackie Brown and Pulp Fiction.
Also, the 2 disc collector's series of FDTD is in a thin double disc case like Shrek, or Cast Away, or The Phantom Menace. Isn't it usually in a double case like all the other Disney released 2 disc sets are? I'd have payed this much for the collector's series of the first movie alone. Very cool. ![]() |

I wonder, though, is FDTD really a Disney/Buena Vista film? I looked at my DVD and I see "Miramax and Dimension films". Not that it's that big of a deal and I don't mean to nitpick , I was just wondering about this too.My hunch is that Tarantino's films are Disney, but a Robert Rodriguez film is under a different studio. ![]() But wait a second, isn't Spy Kids a Disney film too? I'm confused now. Anyways, good find there, and I hope I find those same bundles tomorrow.
