Who says they're profiting off of these? Fry's charges these prices for two reasons: getting rid of extra stock, and to get people into the store to buy other things. It's a loss leader, plain and simple. They lose money on the cheap DVD, but what if you also buy one at regular price, and maybe a DVD player, or something else?

32 bucks for a DVD. Sheesh, what a rip-off. You're better off going to places like wal-mart or best buy. You might want hit stores on release dates. Cheaper. Managed to get the last Sleeping Beauty DVD yesterday at wal-mart. Had to run through the store like a mad woman.

Anyway -- back to Fry's prices. Yesterday's ad said they had Sleeping Beauty for $17.99 but when I got there it was actually $15.97.

(I posted this in the Weekly Roundup as well)
