Just came back from Fry's during lunch. The box sets on sale are just the ones in the ads, Lethal Weapon box set, Batman Legacy set, etc.

Apparently, a lot of people noticed today's ads, as there was quite a long line of people waiting for people to pay for their items, longer than normal on any weekday. Might be some good prices on computers, electronics, and house appliances.

Mtcarmel00, just note that the Voyager box set price was the pre-order price at Outpost.com, so the brick-and-mortar price might not be exactly the same. Hopefully it'll be cheaper.

I'll check out the weekend ads and post them on Monday. Hopefully, there will be ads over the weekend. The 1-day sale today is different from other weeks, so I'm not sure how that bodes for the weekend ads.

Well, the Outpost.com price still seems to be good at $79.99. These prices are usually good thru Thursdays, before next week's new pre-orders are listed on Friday.

I thought about doing that, but I didn't want to wait for it to ship. So I traveled to Best Buy and got it there with the bonus disc. It also comes with a $25 coupon for the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas, and since I'm going in July, I thought the coupon will make up for the $20 difference in price.

Looking forward to the next great Fry's bargain!

I view the ads in the online ad sections of local papers Orange County Register and the LA Times. I do get the LA Times home delivery on the weekends, and whenever I've compared the circular ad and the online ads, they match most of the time. Same ads you see on the back of the sports page or business page.

The Voyager $79.99 price is indeed a brick-and-mortar price that was in Friday's ads. Price is good thru tomorrow.
