Where are you getting your ads from? I wasn't even aware that Fry's had stores in New Jersey.

The $7.99 specials were listed in Saturday's ad. The $15.99 prices were listed in Sunday's ad. The Friday the 13th box set was listed in Monday's ad.

You're welcome, Del.

I know that over the course of a year, I'll save $40-50, maybe more, with the sales prices I see at Fry's. That's enough money to get 4 or 5 more DVDs.

That would explain it. Prices at brick-and-mortar stores and their online site don't always match. The prices I list on most days are for the brick-and-mortar stores.

Their online site, Outpost.com, updates their online weekly specials once a week, usually Fridays. That's why you'll see 2 sets of prices on Fridays.

This topic was started pretty much for the ads for the brick-and-mortar stores. Once I realized that Outpost.com was the online site for Fry's, I started included their prices.

General rule of thumb: prices posted on Monday and Wednesday will usually be for the brick-and-mortar stores. When Outpost.com updates their weekly specials on Friday, I include them on the Friday post. I will usually state which prices are at Outpost.com. If I don't state anything, assume the prices are for the brick-and-mortar stores.

Unfortunately, the prices between the online site and the brick-and-mortar stores don't always match. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I don't know why, that's just how they choose to operate their business.
