WalMart.com has Escape From New York on sale for $9.98. Looks like it is the new version, since it's release date is 12/16/03 on the site.

I'm hesitant though, thinking they may send the old version, and I hate returning things...especially at WALMART....

Holy fuckin' shit! Actually.....now that you mention it, it probably IS the old version, and they just have the info screwed up. I'd wait until it hits the street and then check the B&M Walmarts first....or even just wait if you have to get it online. But if that's accurate, that's incredible.

Hell, I'd preorder now anyway. If it is a mistake on their part, they should honor it. If they send the wrong disc, at least we don't lose money.

Look at the original list price... it is the MSRP listed for the new one. They have that, the correct picture, and the correct release date. Is it possible to screw up three times in the same space? I guess it is, but they should have to honor it like any other misprice.

I ordered mine on Monday night, and it shipped today.

I figure that the worst that happens is I return it, and MAYBE end up paying shipping....but I'm sure if they don't give me the right one they will refund shipping(in the return policy they say shipping is refunded if they shipped the wrong item).
