Wal-Mart sucks - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I used to get to look at some DVDs when i went to Wal-mart and now they put this glass in front of all of them so I can't read the backs and fondle them,
Let them know this sucks!

I'm going to Best buy from now on!

Maybe the ever intelligent Wal-Mart employees at that store thought they were Playstation 2 titles?

I'd bug them to leave it open so you can look, but the Wal-Marts around here haven't done anything as silly as that thankfully.

One of my area Wal Marts used to have the glass case, then about 1-2months ago they took it down.

BTW, I don't know if all Wal Marts are doing it, but this same Wal Mart has a bunch of Fox titles for $14.96 inlcuding the DTS versions of Predator and The Siege.

Places that do this are having problems with theft. I was told Meijer would rather have the case than put in a security device by the door.

PS. This is a SOAPBOX topic, not really a bargain issue. Moving there now.
