My local one had a couple copies of my big fat greek wedding and road to perdition.

Is MBFGW any good?
its advertised as the "#1 romantic comedy of all time"... which is bullcrap.

Greek Wedding is not particuarly funny but it is inoffensive and totally unoriginal. You would be amazed by the number of people who like things that are inoffensive and unoriginal. The less I need to think to watch a movie, the better. Please Mr. Leno, tell us the jokes that everyone can agree with. Please don't challenge me.

Road to Perdition, on the other hand was a great freaking movie.

I thought they went bankrupt and closed down

Its funny and worth watching at least once. I laughed quite a bit. For $4.99 you can't go wrong.

The quote as it being #1 romantic comedy may refer to the amount of money it made. I wouldn't be surprised if it was #1 in that regard.

I think they can say that simply by the amount of box office that the movie did.

The movie itself isn't totally unwatchable, and funny and entertaining at times. It basically plays like a long sitcom pilot, nothing more and nothing less (and a hell of a lot better than the sitcome itself.)

MBFGW is good. At least I liked it. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you rent it first, then buy it if you really like it. Road to Perdition for $4.99?! Must get it!!! My friends don't call me the DVD Addict for nothing!! BTW, anyone know where I can get a good DVD/VHS/CD rack for cheap? I'm running out of storage room for my DVDs (I blame Circuit City, Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Fry's Electronics).

Are you sure about LOST HIGHWAY? I thought it wasn't on DVD yet at all, let alone in a cutout bin. I've just got a VHS taped from cable and would love to upgrade if it truly is available.

Count me in for liking MBFGW .... Not sure why anyone would consider it any less original than most of the crap that Hollywood releases these days... For 4.99 it is a steal, and you can always give it to a friend if you don't like it......

Lost Highway is a Canadian release... French on the cover, no extras, and a horrible pan & Scan transfer. That said, I bought it anyway... I haven't seen it since the theatre, so I was desperate...
