Ok, which store (either ground or online) holds the distinction of having the cheapest Star Wars DVDs for sale??

I'm frankly expecting $39.99 with some kind of bonus at all retailers.

I preordered at BestBuy.com for $45.99 with R2-D2: Beneath the Dome for free, plus shipping. Amazon's cheaper, but R2D2 is out of print individually and it seemed like an easy way to pick that up, considering the still-reasonable prcie on the trilogy.

Have we decided what the best deal/price is? I mean, what is the coolest thing being given away, and what is the cheapest price it is being offered for. I may try and hit up some mom and pops places if the give aways aren't really that great, so that I can get it a week early.

Limit one per house hold...
Ground shipping starts at $4.83
2nd day air shipping starts at $7.21
Overnight delivery starts at $9.64

So it's $41.82 ($36.99 + $4.83)

$.06 less then Wal-Mart.com, but you won't be getting it for at least a week or so.

Outpost.com = Fry's Electronics so Fry's might be a good store to get this at, if they sell it @ $36.99.

Peace...

Looks like you are psychic, Tom.

Got the ad for Fry's this morning, and the box set will be selling for $36.99 at the brick-and-mortar stores. Price is good just for Tuesday, though. There is a limit to 1 per customer.

I think that was just a preview for the actual full length piece which came out on DVD later.

I just took advantage of the Gamestop deal. Traded in three movies that I never watch that I had gotten free with my first dvd player. Since I never watch them, I think it was a heck of a deal.

I think some walmart stores will sell it for as low as $37-$39 to compete with other stores. That's were I'll be buying mine.I just hope they have enough widescreen copies of the trilogy.I also think a lot of stores will start selling this trilogy at midnight.

At gas prices the way they are, you might want to consider something a wee bit closer.

I will probebly be going to Walmart tomorrow night at Midnight and pick this up.I did the same thing when Spiderman come out on dvd 2 years ago.Usually my Walmart will put the big titles out at midnight that they think will make money for example spiderman,Lord of the Rings etc so I'm assuming the trilogy will be no different. On most other movies they wait till morning to put them out.
