Fry's Electronics B&M stores

Sorry for being a dumbass here but what is "Fry's Electronics" and is there one in the Boston area? I've been reading so much about them in these threads that I'm curious. Is it a ground or online store or both?

I'd like to take advantage of the $36.99 price of the Trilogy on Tuesday.

It started as a West Coast/Southwest regional chain. They have stores in 5 states, I believe:

California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas.

I don't know if they've expanded any further north or east. I don't think they've reached the East Coast yet.

They bought Outpost.com a couple of years ago, and use it as their online site. Sometimes, the sales prices match, sometimes they don't.

I'm not sure what they started selling when they opened, but the stores pretty much resemble a Wal-Mart warehouse of just computers, home theater electronics, household appliances, & DVDs/CDs/computer software.

The Star Wars DVD box set is on sale at the same price of $36.99 at Outpost.com as it will be at the Fry's brick-and-mortar stores:

Fry's is like a giant candy store for geeks.

They need to come to Philly, I'd save an average $5 a week
