Best Buy 15% off DVD sale Oct. 14-17 - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Just ran across this fullpage ad in my local paper in the middle of the week, which is rare for Best Buy ads. Along with sale prices on a bunch of computer hardware and software, digital cameras, and electronics, there is one pic of a stack of DVDs that says "15% off all regularly priced DVD movies (Markdowns taken from regular prices, limit 3 DVDs per title per customer, in store only)".

I guess this means all DVDs that aren't on sale in their weekly ads will be on sale for 15% off.

Combine this with the Best Buy bucks from McDonalds, and you can be sure to find some great deals.

This is lame, but... What are BB bucks from McD's? I thought that was a very old promotion...

Too bad that even with the 15% off, they don't beat a lot of the lowest online prices, when you factor in tax.

It was a promotion started last year, and McDonalds started it again this week, tied into their Monopoly game promo they have every year.

Thanks. If BB accepts my price-match (Walmart Online) and the 15%, I can walk out with the Scorsese Collection for a nice 32.00.
