$_"LP" means the advertisement says "Low Price", and $_"HP" means the advertisement says "Hot Price". Use of either of these in the Roundup grid indicates that I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I only include the titles I feel like including (or the ones Unicorn tells me he's looking for ;o)). In fact, the titles are pretty much the ones I'm personally interested in, with few exceptions. I don't get paid for this, and I don't have time to devote to doing every DVD. So, please don't complain. If there is a title not included in the Roundup that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone...like we do!

Note that Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii. Also note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the standard Roundup: they set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is not a way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. When it comes to Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices mentioned at all, just remember that "Your Mileage May Vary".

The exclusive on-pack disc: “includes a link to the Best Buy Shrek 2 Green Room Web site with access to a Counting Crows concert streamed live on Tuesday, November 16, plus additional special features. Details on web site. Also, storyboard-to-screen feature, games, and activities. Minimum 300 per store. No rainchecks.”

--Best Buy is also advertising a bonus disc in its copies of Star Trek: TOS Season 2. --Best Buy is also offering a two pack of Dazed & Confused & Fast Times at Ridgement High. This doesn’t seem exclusive but I haven’t seen it offered anywhere else. The 2-DVD set sells for $19.99. Separately, each title sells for $12.99 at BB.

--Best Buy is offering a series of great prices on great movies to the members of its Reward Zone Program. How about $12.99 for Goodfellas SE, The Good, Bad, and Ugly SE, Scarface (Anniv. Ed.), True Romance, Se7en, Snatch (Superbit), Amadeus SE, Fight Club (2-disc), Boogie Nights, Great Escape SE, Die Hard (5-star), ID4, Citizen Kane, Schindler’s List, and The Color Purple? $17.99 for non-members.

Thanks, Freezer. Thought I'd check tonight & you did post it really early as I'd hoped. Looks like BB for 80 Days (with a CC pm), Pirates of the Caribbean & Fight Club SE (though I'm not a reward zone member as I don't have a BB near me but I'll be in a city with one on Tuesday). I hope the LP on Looney Gold at Target is a decent price as BB is bad & CC is outrageous.

I was hoping to get the Shrek-A Story So Far 4 disc set but I guess it really is going to be Full Frame only so I'll have to replace my Hurricane lost Shrek SE from DDD & get Shrek 2 from CC unless Target is lower. I figure since you didn't include it that it must be FF which is insane. Way to go Dreamworks.

Edit: Sam's Club website has it for $41.63 (& my CC has been known to pricematch them). 110% would bring it down to about $40. Hope Target has a good Philadelphia SE price too. BB & CC are high at $19.99.

Everybody check your local Walmarts.I saw Shreak 2 in mine Friday October 29.They had a big display of them.A few copies had been sold.I was suprised to see them early since most places arn't getting them till Nov 5th.The only thing I will be getting this week is Three's Company S3.

Local Eckerd/CVS Drugs has Shrek 2 in giant letters on first page for $14.99 for the dvd. Unbelieveable as Eckerd's usually has the highest prices around.

I joined Reward Zone myself today & picked up Amadeus, Goodfellas, ID4, Great Escape & Fight Club for $12.99 apiece. Saved $25 on the 5 which more than paid for the $9.99 membership fee. Also got Shrek for $21.99 & pm Chicken Run & Prince of Egypt for $7.50 apiece at BB. Picked up Ice Age at CC for $9.99, Got Antz at Target for $7.50 (would've done a pm on it at BB but they were out of it). Busy day with an expensive Tuesday & Friday coming up.

Just getting Shrek 2 on Friday. Heard that there was a coupon for free M&M minis with the DVD. Yay chocolate!! Just gotta find a way to keep my mom from knowing that I'm going out to buy a new DVD. At the rate I'm going, I'm going to run out of storage room very soon.

Every once in a while they will come out for a big loss-leader on a major title. I remember they were $10 less than the BB sale price for the Indy box.
