Dammit! I'm going out of town on Friday to Vegas, and I won't be back until the following Monday! Why, fates?! Why?! Khaaaaaan!!

Anyway, if anyone is able to pick up seasons 2 and 3 of 24, I would certainly pay you back, plus shipping. If anyone is interested in helping a DVDFile brother in need, please let me know.

Wonder what the actual in-store price is on this, since I could really use it. I don't have much more than that $30 to spare though Everything else... meh...

EDIT: Nevermind... $120 in-store

Wow, nothing too exciting this year. I already have any of the good dvds that are on sale. A few cds I might pick up, but I don't know if it's worth it braving the crowds to save a couple of bucks. I made the mistake a couple of years ago of deciding to pop in to Best Buy on black friday because they had a cd I wanted on sale. Pop in is not the right phrase, as I had to wait in line for over 2 hours just to buy the one cd. Sorry, but if I have to wait in line that long just to save $4, it's not worth it.

Yeah, there's a certain adventure aspect to it though... Usually I'll go just to see what the fuck people do, it's better than a sitcom. Still, that list is pretty lame so far... so... maybe I won't this year. You can't go and not buy anything at all.

Well, I reviewed most of the DVD ads for Black Friday, and while there are some really good deals out there, there's no title that I absolutely need to get at the sale prices. I won't be fighting crowds for parking spaces on Black Friday this year and hours-long lines to buy the items. My last attempt on a Black Friday resulted in many near-misses of car collisions in parking lots that would've cost more money in damage than anything I could save on the deals.

But then, I haven't seen the Fry's Electronics ads yet, so that might change.

Does anyone know how Toshiba rates as a laptop manufacturer? GloWorm really wants a laptop for Christmas and those Black Friday prices look awfully tempting.

I had a Toshiba for 4 years--no problems except I had to replace the battery after about 3 years.

I'm typing this up on a Toshiba laptop right now. No problems, and I've had it for almost two years now.

Tosh makes pretty solid notebooks from what I hear...

Back to Black Friday, I wonder if there will be any online deals. The leaked Best Buy ads I've seen (see www.bf2005.net for some shots) imply that some of the offers will be available online, but probably not the doorbuster deals. I wasn't smart enough to look online last year. Any guesses?

There really aren't any dvd specials or anything else I'm interested in on Black Friday. I will hit Toys R Us bright and early though as I have a ton of GCs from my Chase Toys R Us Visa cashback bonus & I can get a lot more for my money for the 5 nieces, 2 nephews & 1 great niece that live down south (several dozen others across the country but I aint made of money & never see any of 'em anyway). Hopefully I can get all the kiddie shopping out of the way & get some extra bang for my buck.
