Thanks for all the hard work, Freezer. I'm not going to get any new releases this week, but I just went and took advantage of one of Best Buy's other specials.
I know it's an older release, but I'd just like to point out that this week, they've got the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the 2005 Burton/Depp version) for $16.99...and it's the two-disc Deluxe Edition set!, clearly & obviously, with pricetag, right next to Flightplan in their flyer. Can't mistake it. I've been holding off on it because I didn't have the money to fork over the $24.99 most stores were asking for in November when it came out, and I refused to settle for the barebones single-discer. If anybody else found themselves in a simmilar position -- this is the week to get it. Save used, you're probably not going to find it cheaper.

Thanks Freezer! Slow week for me. Eventually I'll pick up The Aristocrats and Flightplan, but I might wait a few months for the prices to drop. The Aristocrats was good, but not $20 good. I may pick up South Park S6 with the bonus reward zone points though. Wish they had season 4 (the only good one) of Enterprise for the cheaper price.

Those Enterprise sets -- wow ! I was there in a heartbeat and got the bonus disk ones too (had to goto 3 stores though). Is the 15,000 bonus RZ's are PER or 1 bonus no matter how many you buy ? The Atlantis set is would be great if that was the case too, but at any rate, I already have it and too late to return and the price diff including the tax would be too small to bother with. -------------- Just something to mention that I saw in Best Buy today. Long shelf signs in the TV area showing that the following shows were $24.99 until 1/28: *** Seinfeld S5 and S6 *** Newsradio S1/S2 *** Rescue Me S1 *** Stargate S8 Not all of the 3 stores I went into showed the Stargate sign. I think the rest were there for the others. If the B1G1 sale was still on this would have been great  for Stargate and Seinfeld. |
