I wonder how many music cues Universal can manage to screw up on the new season of Quantum Leap. Why is it that Warner can manage to release their TV titles with all the original music (for the most part) but Universal can't seem to? Warner doesn't charge any more for their titles than Universal does, yet somehow Universal claims they can't afford to license music much of the time. It drives me nuts!

It is pretty damn annoying... I don't hate it enough to not buy them, but it does irritate me, especially when it's something important like the Ray Charles song in season two.

Wow, this week is packed with things that I want. It doesn't look like I'll get everything this week though. For sure I'll be picking up Masters of Horror: Cigarette Burns and more than likely Dreams Of The Witch House, Robot Chicken is a must for me as well, before they jack up the price.

King Kong (2005) 2 disc is looking good at Target. I wonder if that King Kong (1933) at Target for 9.44 is the 2 disc one? If it is I'll surely be picking that one up. God Of War was a game that I heard nothing but good things about last year, and for 17.88 seems like a good buy. Looking forward to next week.

File this under a YMMV but when I purchased Seasons 4, 5 & 6 of the old Collector's Edition of the X-Files at Best Buy today (03/27/06), they all rang out at the $37.99 sale price and got the $30 discount for purchasing three volumes. Not sure if this is a system wide pricing glitch or just my store (Kansas City/Liberty Missouri) messing up but for those who are looking for a deal on the older versions of these seasons it's worth a shot.

The new ones don't have the seventh disc of extras that were in the old set.

The missing disc/extra features appears to hold true on all of the new sets with the exception of season 6 were its been reported that the sixth disc has not only the final two episodes (22 episodes total) but all the bonus features from the previous set. I bought the older sets so I can't check to see if this is true. Can anyone confirm this?
