Comedies!

Here's where you get to choose as many fine Comedies as were nominated by the dvdfile.com forum community. The winner will be discussed in a future Film Class.

If "Back to the Future" is chosen, the discussion will take place AFTER the DVD street date, possibly as much as a month after, to ensure that everyone has the chance to pick up the film (whether rental or purchase).

Please note that I used imdb.com's classification to group these films, and...vote away!

You mean I'm not the only one who's seen Brain Donors? This is one of my all-time favorites, so I'm dying for it to be released on DVD (although, since it's a Paramount, there probably won't be anything whatsoever on it in the terms of extras ).

Perhaps we should have a catagory for romantic comedy....Jerry Maguire would fall under such a category. I mean, it's a comedy, but not primarily a comedy.....still, I hope we get to discuss one of my forever-and-a-day fav films ever! Yowzas....

The Man Who Wasn't There is a comedy? Sure it's funny at some points, but the film is not a comedy.

Look, cut me some slack here. I used imdb.com's system. The Man Who Wasn't There is listed as comedy first. Go ahead and look it up, please.

Hey, if you don't think it's a comedy, then here's an idea... DON'T VOTE FOR IT...

Out of those nominations, I feel that The Royal Tenenbaums merits discussion above the others.
