Half-Baked is really not a teen comedy, but whatever.

Too late for that. I like the movie (hence my "whatever"), just didn't think it fit with the theme.

I went with Sixteen Candles, as IMHO that and THe Breakfast Club are the two greatest teen comedies of all time (with Fast Times at Ridgemont High trailing by a hair)!

Where is Ferris Bueller's Day Off? Where? Why? How can it not be on the list?

Simply put, Mur -- I didn't see you suggesting it. Ask nicely and it may appear.

The key to Film Class is participation.

I'd also ask nicely to save Ferris.

OK, I'm participating now. And I'd like to suggest Ferris Bueller's Day Off as a topic of discussion.

Adding to the poll now. I'm going to assume the two of you have not voted yet!!

I voted for three:

American Pie 1/2, Road Trip and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

They all made me laugh at whatever point of my life I saw them. My friend and I thought AP2 was funnier than 1.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Mur, don't get discouraged. Just re-nominate Ferris. I can almost guarantee your movie will win very soon.
