There's nothing like busting out the Miike DVDs for some unsuspecting friend, they never have any idea what they are getting into.

I voted for dead or alive, as much as I adore Ichi, DoA is a more enjoyable flick.

I tried to pick up Visitor Q about six months ago, but the guys who I ordered it from sent me the lame R3 Audition and haven’t sent me the correct movie. So, needless to say, I haven’t seen that one.

Well the problem is that only a few people will be able to see the Uncut Ichi, namely me, Orf, JFelix and maybe one or two others, as there is no R1 available at all. Ichi is Miike's best film, and there is the most to discuss in it, especially an interpretation of the ending. Happiness of the Katakuris is the most amusing, Dead or Alive, the most down and dirty, and Fudoh, the most over the top and hilarious. But I don't really think that DvdFile members have had enough exposure to him to really go off anything other than word of mouth.

Oh, I voted for Ichi.
