Omen
Think they'll continue the Omen series? Even though the fourth film wasn't as good as the first three. Ending of the 4th makes you wonder what happens after.
[EDIT: Morticia]Just thought I'd add a little here to 'beef' up the topic a bit. Share what made the first 3 better than the 4th in your opinion, and offer up plot points that would work for a 5th entry and still be *original*. |

I also thought part 3 had some redeeming qualities. I like that they explored the secret cabal further and I also like that they continued Damien's story arc to its ultimate conclusion. Sure, it also failed in a lot of ways (the Jesus/God cameo was so very weak) but at least it stayed true to the story that, while very interesting and entertaining, was essentially a hack job, Exorcist rip-off from the beginning.
Part 4 shouldn't even count. Sure, it was packaged with the rest in a boxed set (but so will The Next Karate Kid) but it was a made for TV piece of garbage. Really, films work better (if at all) in a trilogy. Once you enter into the territory of 4, you really begin to lose your way. Once a film title becomes a 'brand,' with all pretense of art thrown right out the window, it is really time to rethink your viewing habits.

I should hope they don't continue it. The original entry in the series was phenominal, and easily among the top 20 horror films of all times. The sequals were weak and failed to live up to the standard set by the first film. There would only be a further degredation of quality with another movie, as each was worse than the one that came before it.
