Does anyone else love this guy? He has just got the coolest look, voice, and acting ability out there! He's Budd in Kill Bill, Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs, and the foster dad in the Free Willy movies came in between those two! I mean crap, this guy is amazing. Does anyone else wish people would use him more? He's got so much talent and personality and it seems only Tarantino can home in on that.

I didn't know that Michael and Virginia were brother and sister. Never heard or read any articles about them being siblings. That's cool.

Big fans of both, I remember Virginia from way back in David Lynch's Dune and in Candyman.

As for Michael, always liked his tough guy image onscreen. Don't forget that he appeared in the last James Bond film, although I wish he were given a meatier role.

I didn't care for Dune much but loved Candyman.

I didn't know this. I guess I need to watch the last James Bond film. What is the name of it, by the way?

Peace...

I think Madsen (Michael) is mostly overrated. I liked him well enough in Kill Bill, Resevoir Dogs and some of his earlier work, but he was horrendous in Sin City.
Big big sore thumb for me for that movie. I cringe every time he delivers dialog. And don't try to convince me that he was speaking in some stylized pattern. He may have been trying to, but didn't pull it off. Some of the worst delivery I have ever heard in my life.

Die Another Day, the one with Halle Berry, and apparently, the last Pierce Brosnan one. Probably my 2nd favorite Bond film with Brosnan, behind Goldeneye. On sale at Fry's thru Tuesday for only $6.99.

Well, I won't try and convince you, but I can tell you he was speaking that way for a reason. Check out the source material...

Well as I said, I understand that it was supposed to be stylized, very noir, but look at the performances of the others in the movie delivering the same style, his delivery was not up to snuff. Just my opinion of course

I'm with Cherno. I think R.Dogs was just perfectly written and cast for his particular part and he slid into that role like Cinderella into the slipper. That doesn't happen all that often. I can think of no other role or performance before or since, that made me go, "that guy is f'ing cool." That's the Bill-rating scale, by the way, and it's been kind of a let-down watching him since RDogs personally.

I find him okay, but an interesting fact about him. He refuses to watch any movie that features his sister, Virginia in the nude. Can't really blame him, I love my sister too, but would not want to see her naked, as I'm sure that she wouldn't want to see me in the same way.

And that's probably the only "normal" thing I've ever heard about the guy. Find me ANYBODY normal who wants to see their sister naked, and I'd be surprised. And step-sisters don't count, you pervs.

Very cool guy, I've liked him in everything I've seen him in. He's not that great an actor really, I mean he is in his own way. He's like Christopher Walken or Al Pacino(in his more recent work), more a personality and presence in a film than a thespian, which I like. Actually I really loved his perfomance in Kill Bill, mostly because Bud is the strangest and most complex character in it.

i like how he's been among the more cold-blooded characters in all of the films he's played. Certainly that way in Kill Bill, SC, and Mr. Blonde.

It's funny my favorite local pizza place "Nikki's" has a couple of pics of Madsen posing with the manager and his family. Once when he was ringing me up, I asked is Madsen was as cool as he seems on screen, the guy just laughed and goes "Oh yeah".

I've liked him in every movie I've seen him in. Although I haven't seen nearly half his movies. looks like he's lending his voice to an upcoming Resevoir Dogs video game.
