Weekly Live Chats Return! ... With a Twist

For those that may remember them, or if you dont, I have been considering bringing back the Weekly Live Chat groups for a few months now. These were a lot of fun and quiet educational and eye opening for some films. Things kind of pooped out after a few months because the film suggestions just got ridiculous (like the night we tried to watch Old School)

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the live chats, what we basically did was all get together at the same time every Thursday night using MSN Messenger... I would add everyone to one chat window... we would all hit Play on the same DVD at the same time and we would watch and discuss various aspects of a film while it was synced up on all of our TV's. The discussion would continue for as long as we wanted to go, even after the credits had rolled.

Back when we were doing the live chats regularly I was toying with the idea of taking it a step further and going with full audio chats, but I never got a chance to implement the idea or find a suitable (and free) voice chat program that delivered decent audio quality that everyone could use.

I want to go ahead and try some live audio chats while watching provocative and artistic films like 2001, Fear and Loathing, David Lynch movies, Cronenberg films, Kubrick films, 12 monkeys, Fight Club, Vertigo, etc starting some time within the next few months.

What I need is a quality, free audio conferencing program that is flexible and can handle multiple participants and will allow me to kick out any offensive people and allow me to still record the conversation as an MP3 with some other software... any suggestions ?

I am also active on the gaygamer.net forums and I will post about this there as well. They seem to have a large group of movie fans that would be willing to seriously discuss films.

please pvt me or respond here
