Top 10 Werewolf/Beast Transformation Films
(Edit note: Changed it to include other types of beastly transformations, as Werewolf alone seems to be somewhat limited, so now you can include such things as Cat People, etc.)
Enjoyed the two lists of favorite Zombie and Vampire films, so thought it would be fun to do the same for Werewolves (and other beasty transformations) There's some choices that will be either obvious or common, so as I usually do, I will list ones that I think are less common or unique in some way that others may not have seen yet. My choices: Lycanthropus (Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory) - A combination giallo murder mystery/werewolf movie The Werewolf - 1957 low-budgeter, an unusual type of werewolf and very atmospheric I Was A teenage Werewolf - Title says it all, probably a favorite of some others too Werewolf - Very good 1987 TV movie pilot for the short-lived series The Undying Monster - Film Noir director John Brahm's 1942 take on the werewolf legend, exceptional and rarely seen Curse of the Devil - Spanish production, probably Paul Naschy's best werewolf film A Company of Wolves - Great, almost forgotten 80s film version of Red Riding Hood story Wolfen - Another great 80s treat hiding in the shadows of Howling and American Werewolf Howling 6: The Freaks - Must include a Howling film, so picking this one for it's unusual circus storyline and fine battle between a werewolf and a vampire, predates Underworld & Van Helsing The Beast Must Die - Amicus presents a Peter Cushing, Anton Diffring & Calvin Lockheart werewolf mystery And here's a non-werewolf man/creature film you might like to see: Terror is a Man - 1959 take on the Dr Moreau story, with a Man/Panther beast on the loose

Good idea, here's a list in no particular order, as i don't feel a "great" werewolf movie has really been done yet.
Wolf (Nicholson) Silver Bullet An American Werewold in London Wolfen Dog Soldiers Underworld Underworld: Evolution An American Werewolf in Paris Full Eclipse The Howling Really not many werewolf movies, but i consider all of these enjoyable(I ought to as I own them).

Oh Yeah, DOG SOLDIERS!
I forgot about that one. Found it at a discount store for a couple of dollars. What a great werewolf vs the army film, quite unique and completely absorbing. Would put it on the list but then I'd have to take one off.

Don't know if I would say top 10 but you could also include the following if you are looking for werewolf movies:
Van Helsing Underworld Underworld Evolution The Mob Squad Brothers Grimm Not the focus, but all include werewolfs
