Your Top 10: Woody Allen Films
Allen seems to be one of those filmmakers whose films sharply divide fans, so I thought this might be interesting.

I haven't seen very many Allen movies, so I can't participate in this thread, but I just want to say that Match Point is absolutely fantastic and I'd be surprised if it wouldn't be #1 on my list even if I'd seen every movie Allen's ever made.

On the other hand, my friend was at school in the UK during its release and said both shows he attended had at least 10 walkouts, so . . . ![]() To be fair, let me offer my quick take on the film. To me, Match Point felt like Allen’s attempt at a satirical Hitchcock film. However, I thought his execution was abysmal. A film that showcased completely uninteresting and unlikable characters, and a horribly obvious plot that harbored no surprises or revelations. Nor did I find it funny or clever. What am I missing?
