The best way to clean controllers
Title says it all. How are you guys cleaning your controllers, if at all. I'm going to sell my 360 to upgrade to the elite and one of my controllers is really filthy. It has black finger marks on it from sweating. Any pointers on how to clean them without damaging the controller and finish?

Use rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth and it should do the trick. I use to clean with the rubbing Alcohol and the real branded Q-Tips as well (strong and sturdy for cleaning) for my N64 controller. Lots of powder build up on the analog stick and the Q-Tips were great are reaching around the sides

Thanks for the tip guys, it worked like a charm!
After cleaning them, I found that one of my battery packs has a small hairline crack in it.![]()
