360 Web enabled updates?
I allowed a cookie thing the other day when the HDAO/360 booted up. It updated but took forever and now I'm trying to simply plug in a HD movie but am forced to wait for another web enabled update that is taking too long in my opinion!
I can't even cancel it! WTF! |

I don't know what the hell is going on but I started this whole wanna watch a movie at 18:36 (after unplugging the HDAO for several minutes).
I don't see the update bars moving and me thinks there is NO way to say nadda to this update. If I'm making a stupid mistake here, fine...somebody tell me, otherwise, I am sorely dissapointed in this POS HDAO. |

have you called Microsoft and told them what the problem is? Shut off your internet connection and try again. I don't have an HDAO (thanks to mrs. monro ruling with an iron fist) so i'm not sure how many updates come w/ watching movies on that.

Check out the Heroes thread. The f'n thing started a cookie download on disc 2 and takes forever. I made the mistake of cancelling the download then I couldn't even watch disc 2. After a bunch of searching I found out I had to blast away the saved files on the HDAO and then either wait for the download or disconnect my internet.

I deleted the cookies and unplugged the ethernet. If you're using wifi just unplug the adapter and you should get the same results. You don't get to use the web features, but does that really matter?
