I'm just wondering if Sony will drop a little bit again now.

MS knows people will waste oodles of cash on digital distribution, so it makes sense to help these individuals out.

You don't really need a large HDD to watch movies off of Live... they're all rentals anyway, and you delete them after you watch them.
I guess they mean music videos and such... Personally I filled up my 20GB (which is really 12GB) with game related stuff. |

I was thinking of picking up one, and was wondering what the limitations are of the Arcade Version are there games that require the Hard Drive.
P.S. I have a PS3 now, and there are some games I'm interested in on the 360 and the $199 price looks appealing.

Only 1 or 2 games out of the whole 360 collection require a hard drive, and those are the mmorpg-style games. Also, you can get a 20gb hard drive off eBay for $25 if you want one in the future.

The are no limitations of the arcade sku. It comesa with a memory card for small amaounts of storage because it has no HD. I have an arcade but also had a 120 hard drive on my old 360. I just put the 120 gig hd on the Arcade and off I went.

I would get the arcade system, then a cheap HDD off ebay down the line, as Ruined suggested. You can play and enjoy the big titles for now with the arcade system, then upgrade later and buy XBLA games and download demos.
