Does anyone else out there have an XBox 360 Elite, a Gold membership and either Rock Band or Halo 3?

I want to test a theory. I'm having some XBL connect issues with some people for no apparent reason.

I have a friend in Maine with an elite and have connected with him on both RB and halo3. We both have gold but I have a premium 360 not and elite.

I have all three. But remember not all Elite consoles are the same. The first Elite consoles (ones made before Nov 2007) were not Falcon chipsets while the current ones are.

Yeah my friends was a launch Elite but red ringed so don't know what it is now.
