I remember some dude selling his Barbarian character from Diablo 2 for quite a sum on Ebay.
I wouldn't care,but someone bought it

Yeah it doesn't really make any sense to actually pay money for these items. There are enough trainer programs out there that will allow you to add whatever it is you want into the game without shelling out a dime.
I remember seeing some stuff for Diablo II selling on eBay for like $1000.00. The sad part is that wasn't the opening big price, there had been several bids on the stuff already.
The person doing the selling is able to sell the stuff over and over again if he wanted to simply by using a trainer to make a backup of the items.

Do people have the patience anymore to simply play the game and EARN whatever items it is they want?
