I d/l'd the demo ages ago, but just got around to actually playing it.

It's the best multiplayer FPS I've ever played!

Anyone else play? Wanna set up a server and play?

Unhappy Wish I could...

That demo was great... unfortunately, the power supply on my PC blew last week (right after I got home from my honeymoon), creating a horrible stink, killing numerous hardware components and leaving me with only my secondary machine, a Pentium 200 mHz with 128M RAM.

So, seeing that I don't have the fundage to put together another machine that can actually PLAY this game, it looks like I'm out. Have a great time tho!

My copy should be in the mail, so I can't wait to install it when it does get here.

I'm actually holding off until the XBOX Live-enabled release is available in 2003. Halo spoiled me into using a controller for FPS games now.

i'm glad it was good on PC, i heard great things about this game and bought it for PS2.
What a mistake! its the worst port ever! the graphics are crap and frame rate rubbish. I gave it a chance, but took it back 2 days later.

May consider the PC version though....

I don't believe the second installment made it to the PS2, just the first one. I read the reviews on Soldier of Fortune Gold for the PS2 and knew that I wanted no part of it. The PC version is around $20, but I would bypass the first in favour of the second, which you might be able to find around the same price on eBay (where I'm getting mine).
