Xbox Blinx impressions

I am returning my copy of LOTR tomorrow and picking up a copy of Blinx. I played it in the store today and it was really good. The graphics are amazing and the whole time altering thing is very nice. Just wondering what other people are thinking of this game?

It's not getting good reviews--Gamespot gave it a 6.3/10, and Gamespy gave it a 50/100.

From the reviews I've read, it is a better game in concept than in execution. We'll see though, I will not count it out until I play it.

Yeh IGN gave it 88%, Games Domain gave it 90%, OXM gave it 93%. On the other hand, Gamepro gave it 70%, Gamespot 63%, and GameSpy 50%.

In other words, this looks like one of those innovative games you either love or hate, like Shenmue. It also appears quite difficult and seems to require lots of patience, which often spells doom for a game's review score these days. I'd recommend renting it, and see if it's your bag or not.

Well I returned LOTR yesterday and picked up NBA 2k3 instead. I heard that Blinx does get really hard and frustrating. I also figured that I would get more replay out of NBA 2k3. Plus I payed off my live kit while I was at eb so I can't wait to go online with NBA 2k3.
