Red Faction 2 thoughts?

I got Red Faction 2 and I enjoy the game but think somethings missings. I really liked the first game in part because of the Mars setting and, I know alot of people think its lame but I like the movie Total Recall and the first game had a very Total Recall vibe to it. In the first game you could drive the vechicals but in this one you can't fly the plane or drive the tank the only one that I have found so far that you can pilot yourself is the mech suit. Maybe there is more things drive later in the game, and maybe its just Me but the graphics don't seem as good as the first game the character models move better but the texture work seem's to lack I must have played Halo a little to much ummm good textures. so did anyone else pick up Red Faction 2 and notice any of these's things?
